Start Date - July 1 Length - 6-month Contract
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience with managing medium projects, applying project management methodology. Includes a minimum of four (4) years' experience in project planning, project coordination, project communications, project scheduling, and project implementation. Experience as a team lead or in a supervisory role preferred. Experience in the delivery of large/diverse projects within Healthcare or IT environments required. Demonstrated ability to plan, facilitate and coordinate all activities of a multi-disciplinary functional area. Ability to apply project management methodology (PMM) to manage medium and large-scale IT and non-IT projects. Acute attention to detail and accuracy primarily in the creation and management of project artifacts. Collaborates with end-users, subject matter experts, and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Health Care Science, Business or equivalent experience.
Essential Responsibilities Analyzes business needs and requirements and provides technical guidance to management and key decision-makers in determining the best method in which to develop appropriate project plans. Develops, manages and monitors project plans. Identifies and finalizes project scope and objectives, defines team member roles, activities and functional responsibilities. Identifies and documents detailed tasks and timeline. Conducts post project analysis. Develops, monitors and manages project budget (i.e., analysis, reconciliation, forecasting, expenditure authorization, resource requirements, value management, tracking and reporting). Ensures customers are actively engaged throughout the project life cycle. Provides appropriate tools, training, guidance and necessary resources to resolve problems, avert potential risks and maintain customer engagement.
