We are seeking a Tax Manager to for our growing client. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day engagement execution, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality delivery on a range of personal tax assignments. The Tax Manager is positioned to take on increasing responsibility, manage a greater volume and complexity of engagements, and begin developing direct client relationships.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, collaborative, and eager to grow into a broader leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day progress of tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Supervise, coach, and review work performed by staff and senior team members.
Support the execution of increasingly complex personal tax assignments.
Assist in building and maintaining client relationships as responsibilities expand.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative tax research and present findings clearly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective workflow, communication, and problem-solving.
Contribute to practice development and general business development initiatives.
Qualifications
CPA preferred but not required.
5–7 years of relevant tax experience; advanced degree preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort with basic operating systems.
