Project Manager/Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Architect with AIA certification to lead and oversee architectural projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, design coordination, and client relations while ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Manage the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with AIA standards and local building codes.
  • Design & Coordination: Oversee design development, construction documentation, and specifications while coordinating with consultants, engineers, and contractors.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into project solutions.
  • Budget & Scheduling: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of architects, designers, and interns, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements, including zoning laws, sustainability guidelines, and safety standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits, oversee construction administration, and review submittals to maintain design integrity and construction quality.

Qualifications:

  • AIA Certification (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Licensed Architect (State-specific licensure preferred)
  • 7+ years of architectural project management experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project delivery methods
  • Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
