Position Overview Fusion HCR is seeking an experienced Application Analyst to support a client in the property management industry. This role will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and security — ensuring enterprise applications are effectively supporting business operations while maintaining strong governance, security, and data integrity. This position will focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and property management platforms (Yardi preferred), helping evaluate business needs, define system solutions, and ensure applications are configured and managed in alignment with operational and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities Business & Functional Analysis
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements into functional solutions
Review incoming tickets and work directly with stakeholders to clarify needs and define scope of work
Translate requirements into clear, actionable specifications for development teams
Evaluate system requests within Dynamics 365 and property management platforms to determine feasibility and system fit
Assess configuration vs customization and escalate appropriately
Application Governance & Security
Support the stability, security, and compliant operation of enterprise applications
Manage and review user roles, permissions, and access controls (RBAC)
Ensure data integrity and audit readiness across systems
Partner with IT and Security teams to support access reviews and compliance initiatives
Maintain proper governance over application changes and enhancements
Operational Support & Process Improvement
Perform root cause analysis on system and process issues
Ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities
Guide stakeholders on system limitations and best practices
Support change management efforts and process improvements
Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to the transition from vendor-based platforms to custom-developed applications
Help define scalable processes and standards for future application environments
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM and/or Finance & Operations)
Experience with property management systems, including:
Yardi (preferred)
Entrata, AppFolio, MRI, RealPage, or similar
Strong experience in:
Business process analysis
Requirements gathering and documentation
Translating business needs into functional solutions
Experience managing user access, roles, and permissions
Understanding of application governance, compliance, and audit support
Ability to evaluate system capabilities vs customization
Strong communication skills working across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in property management or real estate environments
Familiarity with leasing, tenant management, and property accounting workflows
Exposure to reporting tools, integrations, or Power Platform
Experience supporting application modernization or system transitions
