Position: OPERA / Infor Systems Administrator (Application Support) Location: Onsite – Las Vegas, NV Type: Direct Hire Industry: Gaming & Hospitality
Position Overview Fusion HCR is seeking a Systems Administrator focused on OPERA, Infor, and casino/hospitality management systems for a client in the gaming and hospitality industry. This role is ideal for someone with a support background who has worked with hotel, casino, or property management systems and is looking to grow into a more technical systems-focused position. The role will support day-to-day operations, user access, troubleshooting, and system performance across critical business applications in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities Application & Systems Support
Provide day-to-day support for hospitality and casino systems, including OPERA, Infor, or similar platforms
Troubleshoot system issues, user access problems, and application errors
Support system configurations, updates, and ongoing maintenance
Assist with integrations between systems and ensure data flow accuracy
User Support & Operations
Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 support for internal users across business applications
Manage user accounts, permissions, and role-based access
Support onboarding/offboarding activities related to system access
Work closely with business users to resolve functional and technical issues
System Monitoring & Stability
Monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed
Support backup processes, system availability, and uptime
Assist in identifying and resolving recurring system issues
Collaboration & Documentation
Partner with IT infrastructure, security, and vendor teams
Work with third-party vendors for system support and issue resolution
Maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Qualifications Required Experience
Experience supporting OPERA PMS, Infor, or similar casino/hospitality systems
Background in application support, helpdesk, or systems support roles
Experience troubleshooting user issues and system functionality
Strong customer service and communication skills
Technical Skills
User access management and permissions
Basic understanding of databases or system integrations is a plus
Familiarity with enterprise environments (24/7 operations preferred)
Nice to Have
Experience with other property management systems (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, etc.)
Gaming or hospitality industry experience
Exposure to Active Directory or basic infrastructure support
Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a gaming background check Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
