Application Support Engineer III

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Support III professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high-level understanding of systems and extensive experience in providing application support, particularly for Aristocrat products. This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, functionality, and optimal performance of our applications, with a focus on Aristocrat solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced application support for a wide range of systems and technologies, with a particular focus on Aristocrat products.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Aristocrat applications, providing guidance and expertise to other team members.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of new applications and system enhancements.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide training as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support, with a focus on gaming or casino industry applications.
  • High-level understanding of systems and technologies, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Extensive experience supporting Aristocrat products, including but not limited to Oasis 360, nLive, and Player Experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other gaming industry applications and systems.
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL Foundation or HDI Support Center Analyst.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management concepts.
