Integration Test Engineer

Fusion HCR is hiring an Integration Test Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a leader in world leader in digital security and convergent media solutions for digital and interactive television, changing how people around the world consume TV content. 

In this context, the Atlanta office is seeking an Integration Test Engineer. The candidate will contribute to this purpose by validating the integration of Conditional Access and security products into set-top boxes (STBs) and other device types.
In this position you will be required to frequently collaborate with different teams and stakeholders spread across different geographic locations to support our partners in the integration of technologies and evaluate the functional and security compliance in video consumption devices.
The successful candidate will bring a track-record of testing experience, attention to detail, adaptability, creative mindset, and eagerness to learn.  
  • Execute software or hardware integration tests using existing methodologies and tools
  • Evaluate the security implementations of bootloaders, software stacks, and manufacturing processes of devices
  • Validate functional compliance of integrated CAS or DRM clients
  • Isolate and document test results and deliverables in appropriate test plans and tracking tools
  • Work with other global team members to resolve issues
  • Archive work according to defined policy
  • Report project status to project coordinators and raise potential risks
  • Communicate test results to STB Manufacturers (STBM) and provide technical support to STBM engineer teams
  • Contribute ideas for continuous service improvements
  • Complete all assigned tasks in an efficient, effective, and accurate manner
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Help with miscellaneous engineering tasks

  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience in pay TV or embedded systems development, or testing
  • Advanced university degree in EE/CE/CS or equivalent experience
  • Skilled in problem analysis and triage
  • Comfortable working in different OS software environments
  • Ability to read, trace, and troubleshoot source code or scripts
  • Proven capacity to work autonomously in a team environment and to take proper initiative
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English).
