Fusion HCR is hiring an Inside Sales Associate for a direct hire opportunity for our client who provides access control systems and ticketing services for ski resorts, sports stadiums, amusement parks, shopping centers, major airports and other large parking structures
We are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our Sales & Marketing team. The team member will work closely with the Outside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to provide customers with tailored solutions to meet their needs. The Sales Executive will act as a technical resource for sales as they navigate through the sales cycle with assessing and creating the right solution for system integrations or upgrades to meet the customer's requirements and ensuring sales designs can be implemented and operated. The Sales Executive will provide sales support by providing administrative and organizational assistance with RFP, bid generation support, turning technical concepts into written documentation, customer interfacing sales communications and preparing product presentations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
Work closely with the Outside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to provide customers with tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Act as resource for the Outside Sales team as they navigate through the sales cycle.
Conduct analysis to determine prospective clients and develop relationships with existing clients.
Build relations and work with customers to make recommendations, provide options that work or introduce new options to consider.
Handle RFP process and meet with customers to discuss quotes.
Turn technical concepts into written documentation and prepare product presentations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
Review requests for proposals (RFPs); identify key requirements and expectations, develop proposal plans, outlines and schedules, compliance checklists, and prepare questions.
Proofread and edit technical documentation.
Prepare reports and participate in writing business proposals.
Assist other team members with quoting and proposal preparation as they strive to meet their proposal and project milestones.
Participate in technical sales meetings and demonstrations as needed.
Become an expert on the operation and application of our unique access and networking solutions and their advantages over competing technologies.
Engage current customer installed base and act as a resource for existing customers and promote the brand.
Role Skill / Experience Requirements:
Higher educational degree (University, BA/BS etc.) in Computer Science, Business, Marketing/Sales preferred or other field and previous technical sales or technical proposal writing background. Or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience required.
1-3 Years of experience in a technical customer facing or customer support role or previous experience in software pre-sales.
Previous technical sales or technical proposal writing background preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to guide sales team to adopt and present correct solution.
Ability to learn SKIDATA products and maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge.
Ability to use technical and product knowledge to be able to integrate and design solutions.
Able to balance long-term projects against daily tasks.
Ability to manage projects consistently with prompt follow through in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to maintain a data response repository.
Previous experience managing or coordinating government proposals and using Sales & Proposal Management software preferred.
Must have excellent proofreading and editing skills.
Advanced skills in any CRM system, Microsoft Word, proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook – desktop published would be an advantage.
Must be proficient in writing for administrative, managerial, and executive audiences.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
