The Patient Financial Service Specialist will perform the daily tasks of the Patient Financial Service, which includes, verification of patient eligibility, benefits, and accumulations; ABN completion; verification if CPT codes require authorization, predetermination or PCP referral; refer single case agreements to the hospital CBO; Create patient estimates; update patient demographics, and take payment.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution. Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.
