IT Director of Relationship Management and Business Analysis

Fusion HCR is seeking an IT Director of Relationship Management and Business Analysis for our client located in Florida.
The IT Director of Relationship Management & Business Analysis will be responsible for leading a team of business analyst to support business teams through bringing their strategies to life via business process design, business requirements elicitation, and documentation. This team also supports the business in coordination of business testing cycles and guides the business through change management practices to ensure the solution is adopted and embedded into the business operations. This role requires an experienced “consultative” mindset building positive business relationships, being of service through consultative practices such as workshop facilitation, process mapping, customer journey mapping, etc. This role also is responsible for continuous improvement in our business analysis capability through standardizing methods and tools, drive skills through learning and onboarding programs and direct people leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment
  • Understands the goals of the company and needs of the business owners
  • Understands business strategies and operational and customer friction
  • Has business level understanding of business processes and the technology products that the support the business operations
Portfolio Intake
  • Can directly assist the business to identify project opportunities
  • Can lead and/or consult with the business to guide their project opportunities through a formal portfolio intake process including one-pager development, business case (cost & benefit analysis), and establishing resource allocation considerations
Process & Business Requirements
  • Supports the team in guiding the business in future state process design and documentation
  • Transforms scopes into actionable business requirements using best in class techniques and tools – ability to document effectively in both traditional (business requirements document) to agile (Epic – Features – User Stories)
  • Partners with technical systems analyst as they transform business requirements into technical requirements
  • Establishes a clear set of requirements success / acceptance criteria
  • Works with QA to ensure they have aligned requirements traceability between functional test scripts and business requirements
  • Help the business to understand what changes may be required to other business operational documents such as policies, processes/workflows, standard operating procedures, job descriptions, etc.
Prepare the business for go-live
  • Team plays a lead role in coordinating business user acceptance testing. This includes working with a business owners to ensure resources are aligned, test scripts are developed and UAT progress is being made.
  • Partners with the change manager to identify business stakeholders and assist in stakeholder change impact assessments
  • Ensures that the change plan drives the right behaviors to support the business through adoption
  • Assists in change communication and training as required
General Department & Team Management
  • Directs, manages, coaches and mentors team of employee and contractor Business Analysts
  • Exercises the authority of a director concerning hiring, performance improvement plans/ reviews, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations
  • Prepares inputs to the budgeting for internal & external resources and expenses
  • Establishes a comprehensive communications program that includes both formal and informal meetings, correspondence, and discussions with their respective business partners
  • Establishes formal business analysis maturity model driving continuous improvement in both hard and soft skills
  • Builds a formal business analyst onboarding program ensuring each business analyst builds strong business relationships and business / product knowledge
  • Promotes positive public and employee relations
  • Creates an environment build on strong mutual trust and respect
  • Deep experience in both consultative practices, business relationship management and tactical business requirements / process management
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall Development methodologies, and project management
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with deep understanding of the business, excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross functional working teams which may include contractors and third party vendors
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, ability to work with direct and matrix resources from multiple cultural/ethnic backgrounds
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative. Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities. Ability to lead through ambiguity and loosely defined goals

  • Highly adept at working through and influencing others. Ability to build consensus and work effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues to successfully execute initiatives in support of marketing and advancement goals
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure, with regular and frequent deadlines
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 years related experience with current systems, project management, communicating with leaders
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a diverse range of people
  • Self- sufficient, detailed oriented
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite of office
