Release Manager – Onsite (Large Casino & Hotel)

Position Summary
A large casino and hotel enterprise is seeking an experienced Release Manager to oversee end-to-end software release processes across multiple development teams. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering new builds, software releases, patches, and production deployments within a highly regulated environment.
The Release Manager ensures that all releases are delivered with quality, accuracy, and compliance, and works closely with engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and regulatory teams to maintain smooth release operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full release lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing software releases across multiple teams and platforms.
• Oversee release readiness activities, including build validation, dependency checks, approvals, documentation, and deployment preparation.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure new builds meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.
• Maintain and enforce release policies, versioning strategies, and change control processes.
• Coordinate releases in a highly regulated environment, ensuring all steps meet gaming or compliance requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between development, QA, operations, security, and regulatory teams.
• Manage production deployment windows, rollback plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate release-related meetings: release planning, go/no-go sessions, post-release reviews.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation for all releases, including regulatory evidence and audit trails.
• Track release metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
• Support continuous integration and CI/CD maturity efforts to streamline and enhance release operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Release Management experience in software development environments.
• Proven experience coordinating software builds, releases, deployments, and production rollouts.
• Strong background working in regulated industries, ideally gaming, sports betting, fintech, or similar.
• Experience partnering across development, QA, DevOps, operations, and compliance teams.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment workflows (Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, etc.).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to lead cross-functional meetings and manage competing priorities.
• Experience running go-live readiness processes and ensuring post-release stability.
• Ability to work onsite in Las Vegas Monday–Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in casino, sportsbook, or wagering environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory certification processes, change management workflows, or submission requirements.
• Familiarity with .NET environments, SQL, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and microservice ecosystems.
• Experience improving release pipelines or implementing release automation.
