Position Summary
A large casino and hotel organization is seeking a Mid-Level SQL Developer with strong T-SQL development skills and experience working in Azure SQL environments. This role is purely focused on backend SQL development, database object creation, performance tuning, and supporting core application databases.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on SQL developer who excels at writing clean, efficient code and supporting enterprise-scale transactional systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain T-SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, views, and scripts.
  • Build and enhance backend database components for enterprise applications.
  • Perform query performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to design, create, and update database structures.
  • Support database releases, code deployments, and version control processes.
  • Ensure stability, accuracy, and performance of application databases in a high-volume environment.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for SQL code and database structures.
  • Provide database-level support within a 24/7 operation as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–5+ years of professional SQL development experience.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with T-SQL, including complex stored procedure and function development.
  • Experience working in Azure SQL environments or migrating databases into Azure.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, indexing strategies, and performance patterns.
  • Experience supporting high-volume transactional systems.
  • Strong debugging and database troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Las Vegas Monday–Friday.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hospitality, gaming, or similarly complex enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to source control for SQL code (Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database code (preferred, not required).
  • Experience with database refactoring, schema design patterns, or modernization projects.
