Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager – Gaming Vertical

Position Summary:
Fusion HCR is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional projects in a dynamic casino gaming and IT environment. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, particularly within the casino gaming sector, and be able to manage large-scale IT upgrades and integrations across an enterprise. This is a hands-on role responsible for driving successful project execution from initiation through go-live, ensuring alignment with regulatory, budgetary, and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution

• Lead all phases of assigned projects, from planning through execution and closure.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using established PM methodologies.
• Create and maintain required documentation including project charters, schedules, and PM artifacts.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison between internal departments (IT, operations, compliance) and external vendors.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication between all stakeholders.
• Lead team meetings, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.

Risk, Issue & Compliance Management

• Identify and manage project risks and issues; maintain RIDA logs.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and standards in coordination with legal and compliance teams.
• Anticipate and mitigate project obstacles, adjusting plans as needed.

Systems Integration & Quality Assurance

• Oversee integration of gaming IT systems, ensuring functionality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure quality standards prior to go-live.
• Coordinate user training and system handoffs.

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, track spend against forecast, and adjust as needed.
• Oversee vendor contracts, resource planning, and staffing allocations.
• Monitor and report on resourcing, quality, and scope issues.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders covering timelines, risks, budgets, and key deliverables.
• Track project performance and drive issue resolution.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Motivate and guide project teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and identify areas for future improvement.

Qualifications:
Required:

• 5+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years in the casino gaming industry and 4+ years leading IT projects.
• Deep knowledge of casino systems: Slot Management, Table Games, Cage Operations, Loyalty Programs, Payment Systems, and Online Gaming Platforms.
• Experience leading large-scale upgrades or implementations of gaming platforms.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Project and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• PMP or similar industry-recognized certification.
• Familiarity with Gaming Control Board regulations or other relevant compliance standards.

Licensing:
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain any required gaming licenses or certifications.
