Fusion HCR Staffing is seeking
a proactive and results-driven Director specializing in Construction Technology to lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of technology roadmaps for our client's key preconstruction and operations systems. This role is pivotal in aligning technology solutions with organizational goals, ensuring seamless implementation, and driving widespread adoption across the company. With a strong focus on measurable outcomes, the Product Manager will monitor software utilization, identify adoption gaps, and develop targeted strategies to maximize the value of technology investments.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, business, IT, or a related field; equivalent experience with substantial construction knowledge or technology expertise will also be considered.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, project management, or similar roles, with a strong preference for experience within the construction sector.
- Proven experience driving user engagement and adoption of technology products, including addressing challenges such as transitioning from legacy systems to modern solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills to influence and engage diverse stakeholders across organizational levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and relationship-building, to effectively engage with field teams and diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Roadmap Development
- Develop and maintain technology product roadmaps, focused on Operations and Preconstruction, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, industry trends, and emerging innovations.
- Partner with stakeholders across Preconstruction, Operations, IT, and other departments to identify challenges, opportunities, and priorities within the construction technology landscape.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize competing needs, ensuring the most impactful solutions are addressed first.
- Incorporate industry advancements and user feedback to keep roadmaps forward-thinking and impactful.
- Ability to influence technology strategy by evaluating and recommending new technology acquisitions while optimizing and enhancing the adoption of existing systems.
Execution and Rollout
- Drive cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the timely rollout of roadmap initiatives, with clear communication and alignment on objectives.
- Lead change management initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions during implementation, proactively addressing potential barriers and resistance to adoption.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, coordinate, and ensure the successful execution of roadmap phases, maintaining alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
- Coordinate with external vendors as needed to ensure smooth integration and deployment of technology solutions.
Adoption and Continuous Measurement
- Work cross-functionally to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product adoption, user satisfaction, and overall business impact.
- Regularly analyze adoption metrics and identify areas where engagement or utilization falls short of expectations.
- Partner with Preconstruction and Operations teams to develop and execute targeted strategies, such as training sessions, workshops, or communication campaigns, to improve adoption and enhance user experience.
- Create and deliver adoption dashboards and reports to leadership, translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for ongoing improvement.
