Our client, an innovative gaming technology company, is establishing a new PMO team and looking to add a Junior Project Manager to their growing U.S. operations. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow in the project management space within a highly technical and fast-paced environment.

Overview:
This Junior Project Manager will support software upgrade and smart table installation projects. The ideal candidate is early in their project management career—driven, organized, and ready to learn—with a background in technical support, engineering, or another hands-on technical domain. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, a strong grasp of project fundamentals, and the confidence to uphold timelines and advocate for project integrity.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing smart hardware installation and software upgrade projects across North America.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external customers to ensure seamless execution of deliverables.
  • Support project planning, documentation, and logistics coordination.
  • Maintain and update project management tools including Smartsheet, Jira, and Lucidchart.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams to manage expectations, deliver updates, and ensure alignment.
  • Help drive accountability in timelines and project scope, especially when client demands impact cost or delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document processes and procedures with clarity and accuracy.
  • Contribute to both agile and waterfall project environments.

Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in a project coordinator or junior project management role.
  • Strong foundational understanding of project management practices (task tracking, scheduling, documentation).
  • Technical background or experience in support, engineering, or similar field is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and comfort in client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders while remaining organized and proactive.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn tools like Smartsheet, Jira, and Lucidchart.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup-style PMO environment with evolving processes and high visibility.

Preferred:
  • Prior experience in gaming, casino technology, or hardware/software deployments.
  • Exposure to agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Account management or customer success experience is a plus.
