Sr Software Engineer

Position Overview: The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in developing and enhancing innovative applications and leading the team in selecting and implementing modern development practices, AI advancements, and automation. This position demands extensive experience in software architecture, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and production-level software delivery.

This position demands extensive experience in software architecture, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and production-level software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture and Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions, with a focus on system integrity, cloud infrastructure, and production readiness.
- Technology Leadership: Guide the team in choosing the best technologies, processes, and strategies for development and automation, with an emphasis on AI advancements and emerging tools.
- Cloud and Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployments and integrations across environments.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Define and implement testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and system tests. Ensure proper code testing, staging, and deployment processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architectural diagrams, workflows, and lucid charts. Clearly explain designs and processes to teams for better understanding and collaboration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL for enhanced functionality.
- Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor team members, helping them adopt best practices in development and testing, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- 7+ years of experience in a senior-level software engineering role.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and integrations.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Expertise in GraphQL and RESTful API development.
- Strong understanding of production-level development, including staging, testing, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) as part of the development environment.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing tools and methodologies, including the ability to select and apply appropriate testing techniques.
- Excellent documentation skills, including creating architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare-related projects is a plus.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to drive intelligent automation is highly desirable.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy principles.
