Company Overview:
Our client is a leading casino and hospitality company based in Las Vegas, NV, known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and top-tier entertainment. As they continue to expand and innovate, they are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team.


Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Palo Alto Firewalls. Experience with ASA and FortiGate firewalls is a plus, as these are being phased out. The role also requires extensive experience with Arista, Cisco, and Aruba switches, as well as routers and VPNs used for troubleshooting and site connectivity.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
  • Configure and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls; assist in the transition from ASA and FortiGate firewalls.
  • Manage and troubleshoot network switches (Arista, Cisco, and Aruba) and routers.
  • Implement and maintain VPN solutions for secure site connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and optimize efficiency and security.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment with best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Provide support and resolution for network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on operations.
  • Maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
  • Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Experience with ASA and FortiGate firewalls (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency with Arista, Cisco, and Aruba switches.
  • Experience with routers and VPN technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, PCNSE, etc.) are a plus.
