Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and maintain the company’s systems infrastructure, with a focus on sports book applications and related technologies.
- Develop and manage Azure Pipelines to support CI/CD workflows and streamline deployments.
- Perform routine maintenance, including system updates, patches, and backups, to ensure continuous system reliability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime, specifically within the sports betting environment.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure improvements tailored to sports betting operations.
- Provide technical support and resolve any system-related issues promptly, ensuring a seamless betting experience for users.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps specific to sports betting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer
- Microsoft Azure Certification is required.
- Experience managing and maintaining Azure Pipelines for CI/CD workflows.
- Strong knowledge of server and network administration, including virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Familiarity with security best practices and industry standards, especially in the context of sports betting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Kubernetes experience is highly beneficial.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting regulations and compliance standards.
