Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls within assigned areas of responsibility.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on overhead expenses.

Partner with plant management and the Accounting team to ensure actual spending aligns with budgeted and forecasted targets.

Compile and evaluate sales and gross margin reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including variance analysis of purchasing and manufacturing costs, tooling amortization, margin trends, and productivity metrics.

Oversee the Cycle Count process, providing operational recommendations based on results.

Establish and maintain standard cost structures; propose and implement process improvements as needed.

Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Reconcile inventory and prepare all related inventory schedules.

Conduct Scrap and Rework Analysis, ensure appropriate recovery from suppliers for responsible scrap, and process inventory disposals as necessary.

Perform inventory risk analysis based on current sales forecasts and internal requirements.

Lead monthly program profitability reviews in collaboration with Program Managers and the Business Development team.

Ensure timely preparation and submission of annual audit documentation for relevant areas of responsibility.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA designation not required).

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in cost accounting (manufacturing experience preferred).

ERP system experience: 2+ years preferred.
