Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and budgeting, as well as experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business performance. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, business intelligence tools, and forecasting techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business strategy.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights on budget vs. actual performance.
- KPI & Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to provide actionable insights.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports for senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Cost & Revenue Analysis: Conduct profitability analysis, pricing studies, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Scenario Modeling: Perform "what-if" analyses to evaluate the impact of various business decisions and market conditions.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with different departments (operations, sales, marketing) to provide financial guidance and data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline financial analysis and reporting.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Support M&A activities, investment analysis, and special finance initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of GAAP and corporate finance principles
