Fusion is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and create, enhance, and support enterprise-level, data-centric solutions that drive business value from corporate data assets to large-scale queries. As a key player in our data team, you’ll leverage your expertise across technology stacks like Microsoft SQL Server and Google Cloud, and utilize tools such as SQL, SSIS, Data Marts, and Dataflow to maintain cutting-edge solutions in production environments.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, Build, and Support data warehousing and ETL processes, SQL procedures, and query solutions.
  • Act as an internal consultant, providing technical guidance and problem-solving expertise for data and analytics initiatives.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for data related to gaming and hospitality systems.
  • Deliver senior-level application and on-call support for data integration solutions.
  • Participate in or lead project teams in an agile environment, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team, determining business requirements for data-centric solutions across functions.
  • Stay ahead of technological trends in data warehousing and data management, continuously learning and applying new technologies.
  • Ensure the security, governance, and high-performance of corporate data assets, transforming and provisioning data solutions in a scalable and efficient manner.
  • Actively participate in the ongoing Data Management maturation process.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of ETL experience using SQL Server SSIS (2008r2-2016).
  • 3+ years of experience with T-SQL programming.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SharePoint, PowerPivot, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Relational and Dimensional database modeling.
  • Experience with automated file handling via ETL tools (FTP, etc.).
  • SQL Server administration experience (2008-2016).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and be able to obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and experience with Python scripting or web operations.
  • Experience in Data Management, including Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Exposure to Data Preparation for Data Science and Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytics techniques and Real-Time data.
  • Willingness to adopt new technologies and paradigms like Big Data and event-based analytics.
