As an Intune MDM Mobility/Desktop Support Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Apple and Android devices and providing exceptional service to both internal clients and end users.
What You’ll Do:
- Mobile Device Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for a wide range of mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and tablets.
- Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for device support, deployment, and management.
- Device Configuration & Activation: Assist customers with device setups, activations, and configurations for both Android and iOS devices. Work with carriers to submit corrections and ensure seamless device operations.
- Enterprise Mobility Management: Manage and maintain corporate enterprise mobility devices. Assist with Intune and Apple Business Manager device set-up and troubleshooting.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide second-level support, including white-glove service for C-level executives. Handle shipping, receiving, updates, and wiping of corporate mobile devices.
- Engineering Requests: Fulfill requests related to mobile device moves, adds, changes, and deletes.
- Software & Application Recommendations: Stay ahead of the curve by recommending and maintaining advanced software configurations, new applications, and device service updates.
- Client Liaison & Advisor: Act as a key technical advisor and liaison for mobile device management with clients.
- Device Deployment: Assign, deploy, and manage corporate-owned mobile devices and laptops via Intune.
- Operational Procedures: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and non-technical documentation. Track usage and inventory of wireless devices and create reports.
- Learning & Growth: Demonstrate your willingness to learn new technologies, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and stay updated on trends in MDM.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical and operational issues related to endpoint management.
- Collaborate with Help Desk and Support teams to provide training, tools, and documentation to enhance first-line support.
- Review existing Intune deployments, making recommendations to improve practices and streamline operations.
What You’ll Need to Join:
- Education: A BS/BA or technical degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Experience with MDM solutions such as Mobile Iron or MS Intune is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience working with Intune or Ivanti Mobile Iron and desktop support in a virtualized environment.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of Apple and Android products (iPhones, iPads, Macs, Android devices).
- Strong technical expertise with Intune, Mobile Iron, and mobile carriers.
- Expertise in troubleshooting a variety of mobile issues, including carrier/network issues related to Microsoft Exchange 20xx and O365 Azure AD.
- Working knowledge of Azure is essential.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with excellent diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to work independently with a drive for continuous learning and skill growth.
