Business Analyst - HCM

Fusion HCR is hiring! We are looking for a Sr Business Analyst to support our client with HCM experience to support their Workday ERP system.   

Position Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Business Analyst, where you will collaborate with both business and IT to drive seamless technology integration. As a key player, you'll oversee our current IT systems portfolio, ensuring that technology aligns with business goals while considering budgetary constraints. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of existing systems, and you'll be pivotal in recommending cost-effective software solutions. If you're ready to provide guidance, lead a team, and make an impact on technology frameworks within a business organization, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement business processes, workflows, and technology solutions.
  • Identify and define business needs, conducting detailed gap analysis and suggesting opportunities for workflow improvement.
  • Perform thorough analysis to determine and document business requirements, specifying effective processes and procedures.
  • Configure business rules and requirements, providing technical oversight for software and application enhancement.
  • Adhere to system maintenance policies, ensuring version control, form management, baseline management, change management, and release management compliance.
  • Interface with vendors, identify defects, and define and validate corrective actions.
  • Act as a liaison between the business analyst team and other project team members throughout each phase of the process.
  • Provide direction and guidance to less experienced team members.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of operational experience, preferably within the designated area(s) of expertise.
  • 4+ years of recent HCM experience ideally with Workday.
  • Proven ability to gather system requirements, translate them into detailed documentation, and define business rules through workflow diagrams.
  • Excellent relationship management and project management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in mentoring junior analysts and leading requirements gathering, documentation, and testing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and online project management.
  • TIL V3 Awareness Training preferred.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain necessary certifications and regulatory licensing required for IT staff.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in understanding data needs of finance systems, including but not limited to procure to pay, fixed assets, financial planning, and analysis.
