Business Analyst - HCM

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement business processes, workflows, and technology solutions.
- Identify and define business needs, conducting detailed gap analysis and suggesting opportunities for workflow improvement.
- Perform thorough analysis to determine and document business requirements, specifying effective processes and procedures.
- Configure business rules and requirements, providing technical oversight for software and application enhancement.
- Adhere to system maintenance policies, ensuring version control, form management, baseline management, change management, and release management compliance.
- Interface with vendors, identify defects, and define and validate corrective actions.
- Act as a liaison between the business analyst team and other project team members throughout each phase of the process.
- Provide direction and guidance to less experienced team members.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 8 years of operational experience, preferably within the designated area(s) of expertise.
- 4+ years of recent HCM experience ideally with Workday.
- Proven ability to gather system requirements, translate them into detailed documentation, and define business rules through workflow diagrams.
- Excellent relationship management and project management skills.
- Strong business acumen and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Experience in mentoring junior analysts and leading requirements gathering, documentation, and testing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and online project management.
- TIL V3 Awareness Training preferred.
- Ability to obtain/maintain necessary certifications and regulatory licensing required for IT staff.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in understanding data needs of finance systems, including but not limited to procure to pay, fixed assets, financial planning, and analysis.
