This opportunity is with a health care provider focused on individualized patient care. The physician will provide primary care services in an onsite clinical setting and build ongoing relationships with patients. The role combines direct patient care with participation in a call schedule and a commitment to high-quality service.

Position Overview

Fusion HCR is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide professional medical services and establish and maintain relationships with patients. The physician will assess patient needs, develop appropriate care plans, and deliver care responsive to patients’ medical, social, and emotional needs. The role may involve adult and pediatric care, depending on the needs of the practice.

The physician will also participate in a call schedule, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement. Success requires sound clinical judgment, effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues while maintaining safe, effective care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional primary care services, including assessing patients and developing appropriate care plans.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and deliver responsive, high-quality service.

  • Address patients’ medical, social, and emotional needs while applying sound health care resource-allocation practices.

  • Provide adult and pediatric care as appropriate to the practice and patient population.

  • Participate in the physician call schedule.

  • Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement efforts focused on the effectiveness and efficiency of care.

  • Follow infection-control, patient-rights, safety, and emergency-response policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate with relevant outside agencies when patient referrals or related information are needed.

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients and personnel across diverse backgrounds and roles.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school in family medicine or primary care, pediatrics, or internal medicine.

  • Board certified or board eligible as an American Board of Family Medicine physician.

  • Valid Nevada license to practice medicine.

  • Nevada Pharmacy Board license to prescribe medications.

  • DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.

  • Basic Life Support certification accepted by the American Heart Association.

  • Knowledge of medical care principles and practices, including infection control, age-specific care, patient rights, and applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, communication, listening, and decision-making skills, including the ability to respond effectively in stressful or emergency situations.

  • Ability to use computers and related software, work effectively with diverse patients and colleagues, and safely use clinical equipment.
