Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Application Support Director within the IT department for a premier gaming and hospitality organization. This role is central to keeping key technology implementations on track, coordinating across vendors, stakeholders, and project managers to drive projects to completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced casino/gaming environment. This is not a hands-on technical role, but a strong working knowledge of IT concepts and terminology is expected — organization, discipline, and self-motivation are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Sit in on project meetings alongside the Application Support Director, taking detailed notes and tracking action items
- Coordinate communication and follow-ups between vendors, business stakeholders, and project managers to keep projects moving toward go-live
- Support implementation and go-live activities for the IGT technology stack, including OTP, Direct Funding, FloraNet, and NRT
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and outstanding tasks; proactively flag risks or delays
- Maintain organized documentation of meeting notes, decisions, and open items across multiple concurrent projects
- Take initiative to follow up on outstanding items without needing constant direction
- Serve as a liaison to help translate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for note-taking and summarizing meeting outcomes
- Self-starter who takes initiative, with a disciplined work ethic and ability to follow through independently
- Basic/working knowledge of IT concepts and systems like ServiceNow
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management support, or a similar administrative/operations role
- Comfortable working onsite in a casino/hospitality environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Casino/gaming technology experience, particularly familiarity with the IGT stack (OTP, Direct Funding, Resort Wallet, Sightline, FloraNet, or NRT)
