- Support the Team: Prepare accurate quotes and proposal documents for exciting new sales opportunities.
- Coordinate Solutions: Research product options and coordinate with technical and support teams to keep projects moving.
- Client Communication: Follow up on open requests, provide timely status updates, and build initial rapport with clients.
- Master the Systems: Get hands-on training with CRM, quoting tools, and internal business management systems.
Stage 2: Step into Leadership (Full Account Management)
As your confidence and product knowledge grow, you will transition into managing your own accounts.
- Own the Relationship: Build deep, trusted partnerships with your assigned clients.
- Consultative Growth: Join client planning sessions, help identify their business needs, and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Represent the Brand: Attend networking events and participate in strategic business development.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to know everything on day one. We are looking for the right attitude, drive, and foundational skills:
- Exemplary Follow-Through: You hate leaving loose ends. You are highly organized and possess a strong attention to detail.
- Polished Communication: You sound professional and confident over the phone, in writing, and in person.
- A "Team-First" Mindset: You enjoy collaborating and are highly coachable.
- Tech Aptitude: You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable learning business technology, CRM tools, and quoting software.
- Reliability: This is a structured, in-office role in Birmingham, requiring regular and dependable attendance.
Preferred (But Not Required) Experience:
- A background in inside sales, customer service, or account coordination.
- Experience drafting quotes, proposals, or client-facing documents.
- Prior experience in a B2B environment (technology or IT services is a huge plus!).
