Talent Acquisition Specialist – Manufacturing (Contract)
On behalf of our client, Fusion HCR is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a contract opportunity, with experience recruiting machinists, skilled trades, and/or manufacturing professionals.
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on recruiter who understands the challenges of hiring in a manufacturing environment. This contract position will focus on full-cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring managers, and developing sourcing strategies to attract qualified manufacturing talent.
What You'll Do
Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer and onboarding.
Recruit machinists, CNC operators, skilled trades, production, and other manufacturing professionals.
Identify and engage active and passive candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing.
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and hiring priorities.
Screen and interview candidates to evaluate skills, experience, and overall fit.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and upcoming openings.
Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and recruiting activities within the ATS.
Support hiring events and additional talent acquisition initiatives as needed.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
Experience recruiting machinists, CNC professionals, skilled trades, and/or manufacturing personnel.
Understanding of manufacturing operations and technical skill sets.
Experience recruiting hourly and salaried positions.
Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Flexibility to travel occasionally for recruiting events.
