We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Staff Therapist – Physical Therapist (PT) to provide effective therapy treatment and patient care in a clinical setting. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality rehabilitation services while supporting clinical instruction and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and frequency of care
- Provide effective physical therapy treatments and interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Deliver clinical instruction and mentorship to students and staff
- Ensure proper use of therapy techniques, modalities, and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Participate in in-service education and training programs
Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Licensure & Certification
- Active Nevada Physical Therapist (PT) license
- BLS certification (AHA required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent (within last 3 years) wound care experience
- Experience in a fast-paced acute care and/or rehabilitation setting
- Current wound care certification

- Physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
- Anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology
- Infection control and patient safety practices
- Ability to:
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Provide mentorship and clinical instruction
Work Environment
- Clinical setting with extended standing and walking
- Ability to assist/move patients (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
