Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to provide server infrastructure and application support for our client in the gaming and hospitality industry.
This role is responsible for supporting daily IT operations, maintaining system performance and reliability, and ensuring all infrastructure and applications align with company standards. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting both production and lab environments in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational setting.

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Technical Support
  • Serve as technical support for the business across infrastructure and applications
  • Provide daily operational support for all lab and production systems
  • Provide second-tier assistance for escalated support cases
  • Assist in or direct the deployment of new software system resources

Systems Administration & Infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain configuration standards for core services, including:
    • Active Directory
    • DNS / DHCP
    • Group Policy (GPO)
    • NTP

File structures and user access
  • Maintain reliable system connectivity and performance across environments
  • Create and secure databases including MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL

Standards, Monitoring & Reliability
  • Maintain and help define configuration standards across all IT systems, processes, and procedures
  • Ensure backup, archiving, and disaster recovery procedures are properly implemented and followed
  • Maintain proactive monitoring systems to detect and respond to performance issues or outages

Collaboration & Support
  • Support Senior Systems Administrator with system selection and recommendations to IT leadership
  • Act as a technical mentor for IT Operators
  • Function as a technical point of contact for third-party vendors
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support business continuity and operational success

Additional Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain configuration standards for assigned applications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required Experience
  • Experience in IT Systems Administration, infrastructure support, or application support
  • Ability to support production environments and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and operational processes
  • Technical Skills

Experience with:
  • Active Directory
  • DNS / DHCP
  • Group Policy
  • Database systems (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience supporting system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery processes
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
    OR equivalent practical experience and/or certifications

Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with gaming regulations
  • Knowledge of company policies, including fire and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
