Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite Preferred) — Open to PST Remote Candidates Duration: 6–12 Month Contract (High Possibility of Extension) Work Hours: Standard PST working hours with 1-hour overlap daily with UAE-based UAT team Position Overview We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and continuous delivery pipelines within an Azure environment. This role will work closely with our UAT and international engineering teams, ensuring that backlog work items are resolved efficiently and that deployments and environment updates are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes full ownership of assigned tasks, communicates clearly across teams and time zones, and is comfortable supporting a fast-moving enterprise cloud environment. Experience with Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) is required. Key Responsibilities
Support and enhance Azure cloud infrastructure environments.
Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
Write, modify, and maintain Terraform modules and stateful infrastructure configurations.
Collaborate closely with UAT team members to address environment readiness, deployment issues, and testing support.
Coordinate with teams both in the Las Vegas region and internationally, ensuring smooth handoffs and timely completion of work.
Troubleshoot and resolve environment, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
Document processes, updates, and deployment practices for ongoing operational consistency.
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and independence in managing task queues and priorities.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
Strong experience with Azure cloud services in production environments.
Proficiency in Terraform, including writing and maintaining reusable modules.
Experienced with CI/CD workflows using GitHub (GitHub Actions preferred).
Strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and supporting UAT processes.
Proven ability to manage workload autonomously and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience coordinating across global or multi-time-zone engineering teams.
Exposure to Kubernetes, AKS, or container orchestration.
Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
Background supporting enterprise application deployments and release cycles.
Work Environment
Onsite in Las Vegas preferred.
Candidates located in Pacific Time Zone may be considered for remote work.
Must be able to maintain 1 hour of overlap with team members located in the UAE.
