Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Product Management experience to support and enhance back-of-house (BOH) applications, including Legal, HR, Finance, IT, and Compliance systems. This role serves as the liaison between business stakeholders, procurement, legal, and technology teams—responsible for gathering requirements, drafting design and architecture documentation, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. The ideal candidate will have a technology-driven mindset, be adept at producing high-quality documentation, and demonstrate a professional presence while engaging with executives and business partners. Financial or Workday experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Legal, HR, Finance, and IT departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new or enhanced applications.
Develop functional and design specifications, architecture documentation, and security measure plans for technology initiatives.
Act as a liaison between business units, procurement, and legal to ensure clear communication, compliance, and solution delivery.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical documents for development and support teams.
Collaborate with IT architecture and security teams to validate system designs and integrations.
Support vendor management, RFP processes, and product evaluation for new solutions.
Assist in the creation and improvement of business processes, workflows, and data frameworks.
Provide ongoing support and enhancement for existing BOH applications.
Lead or contribute to post-implementation reviews and ensure continuous improvement.
Maintain awareness of best practices in technology governance, compliance, and security.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst, preferably within technology or enterprise environments.
Proven ability to create detailed business and technical documentation including requirements, workflows, and process diagrams.
Experience acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, including executive stakeholders.
Strong understanding of system design, architecture concepts, and security documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to senior leaders.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Financial systems exposure (procure-to-pay, fixed assets, or financial planning) preferred.
Experience with Workday or other ERP systems a plus.
ITIL awareness or certification preferred.
