Job Description
Fusion HCR is seeking a highly experienced and versatile Technical Project Manager – Product Security with strong expertise in casino and gaming technology. This role will focus on driving security initiatives across slot floor environments, protecting gaming assets, and embedding DevSecOps practices into product development and operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in information security, product security, and casino operations, with experience leading cross-functional technical teams in highly regulated environments. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of bridging the gap between engineering, security, compliance, and business stakeholders. A background in slot systems, casino operations, or gaming technology is highly preferred.
Lead product security initiatives across slot floor systems and related assets.
Drive Agile project execution (Scrum/Kanban) across security engineering and development teams.
Facilitate planning, execution, retrospectives, and risk management for security-focused projects.
Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements for the gaming industry.
Product Security & DevSecOps
Integrate security-by-design into slot systems, gaming products, and IT/OT infrastructure.
Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing remediation, and continuous monitoring of slot floor assets.
Implement and oversee DevSecOps practices, embedding security throughout the development lifecycle.
Partner with engineering teams to deploy security tools (EDR, IAM, SIEM, encryption, asset monitoring).
Casino & Gaming Environment
Apply deep knowledge of casino operations and slot systems to strengthen security posture.
Oversee security risk management specific to slot floor operations, assets, and systems integration.
Collaborate with gaming regulators and compliance teams to ensure audit readiness and certification standards (GLI, BMM, PCI, ISO 27001).
Provide subject matter expertise on slot system security, including integration with loyalty, payments, and player data.
Stakeholder Engagement & Risk Management
Communicate security risks and project progress to executives and casino operations leaders.
Build partnerships across product, IT, compliance, and regulatory teams to align objectives.
Balance security imperatives with business goals, uptime, and player experience.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of technical project management, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity or product security.
Experience in casino gaming, slot floor operations, or regulated gaming environments strongly preferred.
Proven ability to deliver security-driven projects in Agile environments.
Solid knowledge of product and IT security domains, including DevSecOps, vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
Certifications (Required/Preferred)
CISSP (required).
CISM, PMP, or Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe) highly preferred.
