Fusion HCR is actively seeking a Control-M Admin/Engineer. This is a contract-to-hire role with a hybrid onsite schedule in Las Vegas.

Summary:
The Control-M Admin/Engineer is responsible for creating, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting automated jobs across various business systems. Daily tasks often include analyzing job failures, ensuring timely completion of critical batch processes, and optimizing scheduling workflows. The team member will collaborate closely with application owners, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and implement changes, maintaining the stability and efficiency of enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Configuration: Configure and maintain the Control-M environment, defining job schedules, dependencies, and resource allocation

  • Job Monitoring: Monitor the execution of scheduled jobs, ensuring successful completion and prompt resolution of any issues or failures

  • Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of Control-M workflows, making recommendations for improvements

  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to job failures, dependencies, and runtime errors, collaborating with relevant teams

  • Security Management: Manage and enforce security measures for the Control-M environment, including user access, permissions, and authentication

  • Job Scheduling and Dependencies: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand job scheduling requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes and dependencies

  • Upgrades and Patch Management: Coordinate and perform Control-M software upgrades, patches, and fixes, ensuring system stability and compatibility

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of Control-M configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures

  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts or processes to enhance the efficiency of Control-M job execution and monitoring

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, application owners, and business units to ensure seamless integration and support of Control-M in the overall IT infrastructure

Required Skills & Experience

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a computer science discipline or a comparable level of experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Remedy Control-M

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a large enterprise environment

  • Windows System and Linux Administration experience

  • Deep knowledge in shell scripting, including PowerShell and Bash

  • Basic Knowledge of ITIL

  • Must have good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses
