Minimum Qualifications:
- This position is subject to pre-scheduled rotational on-call periods (typically a week in duration) during which time this position will provide subject matter expertise to resolve user/system security issues.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements. through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- 3 - 4 years of experience in provisioning and de-provisioning network and system access within a fast paced and demanding Information Technology environment.
- 3+ years of experience with a variety of technology platforms (i.e., iSeries, Wintel, VPN) is preferred.
- Experience with system audit, profile review, internal and external regulatory controls to include PCI, SOX and Nevada Gaming Control Board is preferred.
- Solid experience working with iSeries applications is desired.
- Familiar with Role Based Access methodologies to include the application and implementation.
- Experience in interfacing with end users to provide excellent customer service.
- Requires a strong understanding of security controls in a Microsoft Windows environment to include operating systems, folders and share drive management.
- Must be able to participate in new systems projects from an Information Security perspective.
- Strong analytical skills to identify security issues and implement solutions.
- Must exhibit logical, analytical, reasonable, consistent behavior that results in sound decisions.
- Creating and modifying PowerShell and Batch scripts.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Keeps current knowledge of programs, technological developments in system security, recommends ways for the company to take advantage of new technologies and improve information security, application and operating systems supported by Identify Access Management to include the management of and understanding of profiles and associated permissions.
- Performs monthly and quarterly reviews of system users to ensure role-based access is enforced and that all system users are authorized and appropriately provisioned.
- Maintains a smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including collaborations with various departments and enforce Identity Access Management policies and integrate solutions with enterprise systems
- Reviews and makes recommendations for current security policies and procedures to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness. Troubleshoot, react and initiate corrective action regarding security violations such as attempts to gain unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse in accordance with internal controls.
- Works with internal and external auditors to fulfill requests regarding SOX, PCI and Gaming Control Board audits pertaining to routine IT control audits and risk assessments.

- Assist in the development and delivery of solutions by strategic planning, execution, and data analysis.

- Participate in process improvement activities to optimize the speed and quality delivery of services.
- Perform scheduled maintenance late at night and early mornings.
- Create detailed how-to documentation in Microsoft OneNote.
- Build process flowcharts in Visio.
- Troubleshoot client health and installation issues.
- Create deployments scopes and SCCM WQL & SQL queries.
- Provides excellent customer service to end users as needed to include managing tickets in Service Now and providing detailed notes, screenshots to resolution of task.
- Speak and present requests in front of the Change Management Board for approval of deployments.
