As the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible providing the financial strategy for the organization. You will be leading the holding company of the operating companies of various sizes and complexities, as well as the investments.
Responsibilities include bur are not limited to:
• Setting objectives and strategies for the accounting department.
• Collaborating with the executive team to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
• Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
• Assessing the company’s financial health and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with the CEO and COO to create annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
• Communicating financial information to the board, to existing and future shareholders, and to company leaders.
• Managing relationships with financial institutions and banking partners.
• Managing relationships with outside auditors and tax professionals.
• Exploring and implementing innovative financial technologies to ensure optimal performance and financial decision-making processes.
• Overseeing the company’s treasury and treasury functions
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks affecting the company.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business unit accounting teams, presidents, and shareholders.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Overseeing the timely preparation and filing of company tax returns.
• Providing guidance on regulatory changes affecting financial operations.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualified applicant must have:
- 10-15 years progressive accounting and management experience
- 3-5 years of "Big Four" experience
- Extensive GAAP accounting, consolidations, and investment experience
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a CPA
