Store Systems Analyst

  •  You will serve as an expert on our store POS Systems and POS integration systems as well as in the internal lab including 

  • Assessment, triage, research, training, and resolution of incidents with our POS and store systems 

  • Perform system maintenance and system upgrades 

  • Build and configure new POS systems for delivery to store locations 

  • Writing and running SQL scripts to resolve issues with  

  • Work as level 2 and level 3 support for all POS systems 

  • Writing, editing, modifying SQL scripts to update/change in store databases 

  • Work with business partners to create new features or modify/customize current systems 

  • Partner with store operations team to identify needs, timelines, priorities 

  • Documenting tasks, along with issues and resolutions to create a well-defined knowledge base 

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • High quality end-user technical support, related to point-of-sale systems, network, and hardware 

  • An in-depth understanding of POS systems, software, networks, and hardware as well as the ability to apply that knowledge to support our POS systems 

  • Detailed knowledge of payment systems and the integration that makes them interface with the POS 

  • Ability to manage time well, and prioritize multiple projects 

  • Must have outstanding communication skills 

  • 3+ years' supporting a fast-paced retail environment 

  • Must have experience with SQL database and be able to create and edit SQL statements 

  • Experience using a ticketing system and creating knowledge base articles 

  • Ability to support remote POS systems using an RMM 

  • Strong work ethic  


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience offering technical support in a retail environment using Oracle’s Xstore and Oracle’s Xadmin 

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System administration, or equivalent experience 

  • Advanced scripting knowledge using PowerShell 

  • Experience using and supporting Verifone payment devices, particularly using Tender Retail as middleware 

  • Experience supporting a Merchandising department using Aptos
