Sr Account Executive – IT Staffing

Position Overview
The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business, developing strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth within IT staffing services. This individual will operate as a hunter, identifying opportunities, building executive relationships, and partnering internally with recruiting teams to deliver exceptional talent solutions.
This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role for someone who thrives in competitive markets and understands the urgency and nuance of IT staffing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new client accounts within target industries and geography
  • Build and maintain relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, HR Leaders, and hiring managers
  • Generate new contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand workforce strategy and technical hiring needs
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure successful candidate delivery
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM documentation
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Develop strategic account plans for key growth clients
  • Represent Fusion HCR professionally in networking events and industry functions

Qualifications
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT staffing sales or professional staffing sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience selling contract staffing solutions
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills
  • Ability to navigate and sell into mid-market and enterprise organizations
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Preferred:
  • Existing local network within target market
  • Experience selling to industries such as Healthcare IT, FinTech, Manufacturing IT, Telecom, or Enterprise Technology
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
