Position Overview The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business, developing strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth within IT staffing services. This individual will operate as a hunter, identifying opportunities, building executive relationships, and partnering internally with recruiting teams to deliver exceptional talent solutions. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role for someone who thrives in competitive markets and understands the urgency and nuance of IT staffing.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and secure new client accounts within target industries and geography
Build and maintain relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, HR Leaders, and hiring managers
Generate new contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities
Conduct discovery meetings to understand workforce strategy and technical hiring needs
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure successful candidate delivery
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM documentation
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Develop strategic account plans for key growth clients
Represent Fusion HCR professionally in networking events and industry functions
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in IT staffing sales or professional staffing sales
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Experience selling contract staffing solutions
Strong prospecting and business development skills
Ability to navigate and sell into mid-market and enterprise organizations
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Preferred:
Existing local network within target market
Experience selling to industries such as Healthcare IT, FinTech, Manufacturing IT, Telecom, or Enterprise Technology
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
